​Hi! I’m Elizabeth Savanella, an illustrator of enchanting characters, captivating patterns, and dynamic lettering. While I’m classically trained in illustration with a BFA degree from FIT, I’ve studied writing in recent years and found that authoring picture books allows me to fully express my vision for a story and leave a colorful imprint in the world of children’s literature.

In my personal life, I actively support local animal rescue organizations and environmental causes, volunteering whenever possible. I also serve as the Illustrator Coordinator for the Westchester chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, organizing enriching programs for local illustrators.
